First started by a father and son team in 2008, Seattle Boat Works was created as a mobile boat repair and install hub for the Puget Sound. Since then we’ve become known for our straightforward and accessible approach to electric and hybrid propulsion for the recreational boater, quality woodworking, as well as experienced installers of hydronic heating systems by ITR Heat®.

Captain Alex Wilken has spent years chartering boat trips and teaching boaters, coming from his own 40+ years experience living on and sailing boats. We’d be happy to help you get more comfortable with your boat (docking! sailing! rigging!) in one-on-one or group sessions.
